Welcome to In His Name

We are an official 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We hope to offer comfort to those affected by a devastating loss to SIDS {Sudden Infant Death Syndrome} or SUID {Sudden Unexplained Infant Death} through educational resources, grief support, community, and prayer. We will be sending out the "SIDS Survival Kits" to families in Alabama and Tennessee, and will extend our support to any family that finds themselves on this hard, lonely grief journey. Our goal is to reach newly bereaved parents as soon as possible after their loss of an infant. To order a kit or to find out more about our kit, please go to the SIDS Survival Kit page, or click here. No one should have to walk this road alone!

About Us

My name is Tiffany. My husband, Dennis, and I met while we were in highschool, and have been married since June 2004. On May 30, 2010, we welcomed our firstborn son, Julius Luciano into our lives. We spent four and a half blissful months with our baby boy before suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. Our world crumbled around us on that day, and we have been trying ever since to find the strength to carry on without our son. He was such an amazing little boy {you can read all about him here}, and taught us far more than we ever hoped to learn about love and life. We miss him more and more with each passing day.

Though we are still so new to our grief journey, we have decided to reach out to those who have recently been affected by SIDS/SUID and pass along some resources and our support. Since he was, and still is, a light in our lives, we want to share his light and love with others. We will be continuing the legacy and the great work that Jacob and the loving people at Tiny Handprints started. We will continue to send out the "SIDS Survival Kits" that they have created {I know it was a blessing when we received ours}, and will extend our support to any family that finds themselves on this hard, lonely grief journey. We have also set up this blog dedicated for this purpose, and have chosen to call it "In His Name" in honor of our little boy, Julius. He is our strength during this time of weakness, and we want to make sure that we make him proud of us. We know first-hand how intense this heartache is, and wish none of us had to endure this.

We will be sending out these kits to those in the Alabama/Tennessee area. We will also be here for those outside of the area to provide our support, and to assistance. Our goal is to reach newly bereaved parents as soon as possible after their loss of an infant. To order a kit {free of charge}, or to find out more about our kit, please go to the SIDS Survival Kit page, or click here. If you are not in AL/TN, you can also check out our SIDS Organization by State page to see if there is a SIDS organization in your state. If not, please contact us or the national organizations The CJ Foundation for SIDS or First Candle. No one should have to walk this road alone!
